There are four classic hair cuts. Click on the highlighted link to see examples of each:
  1. One-length bob

  2. Shoulder-length

  3. That short haircut that Mom got when she turned 40

  4. Long and layered

  5. Latest looks

"The rest is seasonal like shoes and handbags; it changes all the time," explains Lynn. "Vuitton, Prada, Kate Spade, whatever...or updating makes and models of cars. It's out of sync for the fashionably-inclined woman to drive an '09 BMW still using a 2001 flatiron. To see what's coming in hair styles, check out my Spring and Summer Forecast '08.

Lynn's latest custom look features "Balyage Highlights" - balanced and natural, rather than "perfect" as is ordinarily the case. He creates a dazzling elegant pastiche of color by utilizing a color brush to customize hair by hand, painting the highlights or color in (sort of an air-brushing effect) which gives a sparkling glow.

"I love foil as well, but it is a more cursory approach. It has its place ya know," says Lynn. "Today, all-over highlights are passé unless you want to be totally blonde. Less is more, with the emphasis on accent, as with Angelina Jolie or the ever-changeable Drew Barrymore."

Lynn believes in style with versatility. To see how dramatically the right cut can change someone's appearance, here are some examples of before and after styles.
